• HOW FIT DO I NEED TO BE?

    Within the group of up-to 20 guests there will most likely be different levels of fitness. Everyone is an individual and can only do what their bodies are capable of, so we do not expect everyone to be at the same levels. Julie & Paul will be there to motivate you to your personal limits, if the trainers feel that they need to adapt, progress or regress certain activities then this will be delivered accordingly, you will get the opportunity to discuss this in your welcome call with Julie also.
  • WHO ARE THE SESSIONS DESIGNED FOR?

    Everyone in good health. We are both big believers in fitting a healthy lifestyle round a busy life. The group workouts are timed to explore your fitness level with relatively short intense workouts with maximum effort to receive the maximum results as is the Personal Training sessions. This mode of training it is about how much you can do as an individual. The Holistic sessions are designed for everyone to achieve an understanding of their body to increase range of movement and to mobilise, recover and calm the body & mind, with variation in movement all of our guests will be able to take part.
  • WILL I LEARN ANYTHING?

    We hope that throughout the entire experience, you’ll take something valuable home with you. When you arrive home from The Retreat, we hope that you take with you, knowledge about living a balanced lifestyle, learning to switch off and recharge. Gain a variety of different types of exercises and training methods so you will be able to keep up the positive habits.
  • HOW MANY GUESTS WILL BE STAYING AT THE RETREAT?

    There will only be a maximum of 20 guests within the retreat group.
    All guests will be made to feel welcome, get the chance to make new friends and enjoy their own personal space.
  • CAN I ATTEND ON MY OWN?

    75% of clients attend on their own. The group size is a perfect, allowing you to socialise as well as finding the time for yourself. So please do not be worried to join us if you are flying solo. *See single supplement pricing information*
  • IS FOOD PROVIDED?

    We typically provide breakfast/brunch, post workout refreshments and evening meals every day you’re at The Retreat. The exclusions are additional food & drink not described on the itinerary and alcohol/speciality drinks. Prior to the retreat, we will have a call to ensure we meet any allergens or dietary requirements. The above also depends on where the retreat is located.
  • DO I HAVE TO PARTICIPATE IN ALL OF THE ACTIVITIES?

    No not at all we have designed the workouts/activities to be as beneficial towards your health, fitness and relaxation needs as possible. At anytime if you feel like you need to sit out, that is completely fine, it's your choice and prerogative. Our aim is to inspire, motivate & look after you, so that you feel energised & refreshed. We will not make you do anything you don’t want to do.
  • WILL I HAVE ANY FREE/RELAX TIME?

    Yes, of course, with all our retreats focusing on wellbeing, we believe in recuperation & relaxation, as well as working and training hard. We include holistic sessions, which will not only relax the body but the mind too.
  • WILL I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING WITH ME?

    When you have booked to attend, closer to the time you will receive a recommended kit list of things to bring, all of which will be essential for your stay. We will provide workout equipment including yoga mats.
  • CAN I SMOKE OR DRINK ALCOHOL AT THE RETREAT?

    We want you to enjoy yourself and if you like the odd drink, then that is fine with us. We do expect our guests to drink in moderation and be respectful of the other guests. If you do get drunk and become aggressive or disrespectful, we may ask you to leave. There will be designated smoking areas.. This is a retreat and your enjoyment is compulsory!   • IF I INJURE MYSELF WHILST AT THE RETREAT?

    We will be trying our upmost to prevent any accidents or injuries happening. Our workouts are designed to be safe and effective to minimise any risks that may occur. The trainers are first aid qualified and will be able to deal with any minor injuries. In an emergency an ambulance will be called immediately. We highly recommend travel insurance, participating in exercise and hikes may be challenging and you need to be covered.
  • DO I NEED TRAVEL INSURANCE TO COME TO THE RETREAT?

    As stated above, we HIGHLY recommend travel insurance, especially for a holiday that involves fitness and activities. We cannot make our guests get travel insurance, but we hold no responsibility for any problems that might occur and not being covered.
  • CAN I ATTEND WITH ANY EXISTING OR PRE-EXISTING INJURIES/MEDICAL PROBLEMS?

    Upon booking your stay at The Retreat, we will ask you if you are in good health and well enough to perform activities. You will also receive a Medical Declaration form to fill in after booking. Some of our guests may have minor medical problems or pre-existing injuries, (asthma, high-low blood pressure, diabetes, back, joint problems) As long as we are made aware of any problems and your GP gives the all clear, then we can accommodate accordingly. We do not accept any guests with serious medical problems (heart conditions, stroke, epilepsy) So please be mindful when booking with a serious medical condition because We will not be responsible.
  • DO I GET TO SPEAK TO THE OTHER RETREAT GUESTS BEFORE I ARRIVE/TRAVEL?

    Yes of course a month before your arrival date we will introduce you all in a group chat either via WhatsApp or Messenger. You will then be able to get know each other, get excited and of course ask any questions! In your welcome call you will be asked if you want to be included in this group.
